Quick and convenient, you can update your BlackBerry® smartphone device software from your desktop computer.
- Visit the Upgrade Your Device Software and click on “Check For Updates”
- Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable and enter your device’s PIN number.
- If a software upgrade is available for your device, select Options to add any device software applications
Once you’ve updated your device software, you’ll be able to do more, and do it faster, with your BlackBerry smartphone.

- Select wireless upgrade and follow the instructions.
