BlackBerry Messenger comes pre-installed on your BlackBerry smartphone. Here’s how to find and open it:

  1. On the Home screen, click the Instant Messaging folder.
    Note: If you don’t see the Instant Messaging folder, you may be viewing your default Home screen with only six icons. If that’s the case, click the Menu key to display all your smartphone applications.
  2. Click the BlackBerry Messenger icon.
