As CODERE’s business relied on field engineers being on the move and going out to fix gaming equipment all over Spain, it needed a fast and reliable method of communicating with them
CODERE’s existing WAP and SMS applications were not able to deliver enough information to the field engineers to enable them to do the best job possible
The engineers often worked inside in bars or nightclubs with weak or non-existent mobile signal so CODERE needed a solution that was independent of mobile signal

CODERE has seen significant improvements in terms of efficiency in the field as the engineers are better prepared when they reach the incident with more information available on the BlackBerry® solution than with the previous solution
