Thames Valley Police officers were spending, on average, 30% of their time in the station dealing with administrative tasks
A lot of time was spent by officers travelling to/from to the station in order to access police databases and check information
The force wanted to improve efficiency by reducing this and increasing the visibility of its officers in the community

The BlackBerry® solution has enabled Thames Valley Police officers to securely access the Police National Computer database as well as warrants, missing persons and DVLA databases, meaning that they don't have to go back to the station to access information
