The BlackBerry® Web Development Plug-in for Eclipse™ allows developers to debug web-based applications and content for the BlackBerry solution.
Working through the familiarity of Eclipse™ allows simplified code profiling and increases overall efficiencies. Users enjoy seamless integration with Eclipse 3.4 that allows comprehensive development of all BlackBerry web applications and contents. The plug-in also facilitates active web development and debugging with a BlackBerry smartphone simulator as well as active web profiling to optimize web projects.

The BlackBerry Web Development Plug-in for Eclipse 1.0 (including Eclipse IDE) package includes the Eclipse IDE, which is licensed under the Eclipse Public License and the Eclipse Foundation Software User Agreement (View Eclipse legal resources). All other software provided in that package or on this page is governed by the BlackBerry SDK License Agreement distributed with the software.
Release Date
The final release of the BlackBerry Web Development Plug-in for Eclipse 1.0 will be coming later this year.
