The BlackBerry® Java® Plug-in for Eclipse® is an Eclipse plug-in that improves productivity by providing an integrated BlackBerry smartphone specific development, debugging and simulation workflow.

The v1.5 release increases productivity by integrating with time-saving Eclipse features and offers Eclipse Helios (3.6) and Indigo (3.7) support with the BlackBerry Development Eclipse Perspective that better organizes BlackBerry development views and menus for easier access. The v1.5 release adds many new features and fixes issues with v1.3.
Technical requirements
- Eclipse 3.6 Helios or 3.7 Indigo
- 32-bit Windows® XP, Windows Vista® or Windows 7 (Note: 64-bit versions require 32-bit Java® and Eclipse)
- Monitor with a resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher
- PC with Intel® Pentium® 4 processor or compatible (2.5 GHz or higher, 2 GB RAM, 1.5 GB HD free)
- Java SE Development Kit (JDK) 6, update 10 or later
- 4 GB of Memory

Eclipse updates
