New Highlights for BlackBerry App World Vendors

Hyperlinks from your website can be launched through the BlackBerry® Browser to open the BlackBerry App World product page and display your application. This feature can help to increase your application’s visibility and make it easier for you to recommend your application to customers.

New BlackBerry App World educational services for developers include knowledge base articles, how-to articles, updated FAQ and a dedicated vendor support forum.

Applications can now be archived to device memory or removable storage in order to free up space and reduce unnecessary network usage. When a user restores an application from the archive it will not need to be downloaded again.

New application categories have been added. Applications may have been moved by the BlackBerry App World store manager to fit best within the new categories. You can make further changes to your application listings and categories through the Vendor Portal.
