Notice Regarding BlackBerry MVS

Emergency calls to "911", "112", "999", "000" or other internationally recognized numbers intended to connect to a public safety answering point or similar emergency services are not processed through the BlackBerry Mobile Voice System (MVS) Software, and will only be processed from a BlackBerry Handheld where cellular coverage is available from an airtime service provider.

The BlackBerry MVS Software is not designed or intended to be a replacement for traditional telephone service. Additional arrangements must be made, separate from the BlackBerry MVS Software, to obtain access to traditional fixed or wireless telephone services such as emergency calling capability.

RIM and its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees shall have no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any personal injury, death or damages arising out of or in connection with the inability to access emergency call services (e.g. 911, 112, 999, 000) through the BlackBerry MVS Software.

By using the BlackBerry MVS Software, you agree with the above. If you are unwilling to agree to the above, please have the BlackBerry MVS Software deleted from your Handheld.
