• iBarómetro also found that using paper surveys elevated printing costs. The firm needed additional staff to supervise the manual interview process and pollsters had to drive back to the office to enter the questionnaire results.

Solution

The company developed iBarómetro Field Trak™ for BlackBerry® smartphones to expedite the process of conducting field surveys, facilitate access to survey forms and automatically input questionnaire responses. iBarómetro also use email on their BlackBerry smartphones to assign projects and send instructions to field pollsters.
