Metromedia had already created HotelEXPERT, desktop software that coordinates guest requests among employees for addressing things like getting new towels or replacing light bulbs. But most hotel staff are mobile and can’t access desktop software, so instructions are often delivered by cell phone or two-way radio.
Solution
To mobilize this process, Metromedia decided to create PocketHotelEXPERT®, a mobile version of their software built in .NET that would push requests directly to the right staff member wherever they’re working in the hotel.
