Enhanced Service

The BlackBerry® Enhanced Paging Service provides you with a unique toll-free number, allowing callers to leave either a numeric message or a voice mail message after hearing your custom greeting.

Enhanced Paging allows callers to leave you a voicemail in your secure mailbox at no charge and permits you to pick up the messages toll-free as well. Having voice mail messages permits the prioritization of callbacks and it's a way of communicating discreetly, since only you have the access code to listen to your messages. The access code is assigned at the time of Enhanced Paging activation and can be changed at any time, as often as desired.

When voicemail messages are left in your mailbox, a text message arrives to your handheld indicating "New Voice Message", which will prompt you to dial the over-dial number and retrieve the voicemail that was left for you.

Paging messages are always delivered directly to your handheld, bypassing your corporate inbox.

ePage

All BlackBerry Paging solutions include ePage, allowing contacts to send you messages through the BlackBerry website, as well as through email. Contacts are required to enter the specific 7-digit Paging PIN, which is used as part of the email address, in order to send an ePage. This offers an additional secure method for contacts to reach you.

Coverage

BlackBerry Paging solutions are covered by 2 of the same networks, which offer the BlackBerry wireless email service, including the Cingular wireless network in the United States and the Rogers Wireless network in Canada.

Both networks offer broad coverage, nationwide roaming, fast messaging and reliable delivery. Even if your handheld is turned off or temporarily out of coverage, your pages will be stored and forwarded automatically when you return to coverage.

Callers can reach you from anywhere in your home country of Canada or the United States. You can also purchase roaming on your BlackBerry device, which will allow you to receive pages in both countries.
