Select your operating system

How to find out your smartphone's operating system

Select Options on the home screen (the wrench icon). Depending on your device operating system, select Device, then About Device Versions or select About.

On some BlackBerry models, you may need to select Settings before getting to Options.

The third line on the screen that comes up will start with a "v", followed by the software version. For example, "v.4.5.0.37" is OS version 4.5 and build 37.
