BlackBerry Certified Application Developer retirement
The BlackBerry Certified Application Developer certification is being end of lifed. The BCP-810 Developing Applications for the BlackBerry Solution and BCP-811 Developing Java Applications for the BlackBerry Platform exams will be retired on Oct. 31, 2011 and will expire as of Feb. 29, 2012.
The BlackBerry Certified Application Developer certification is currently under review. Updates and details on the future direction of the program will be added to this page as they become available.
BlackBerry Enterprise Server v4.1 exam retirement
All BlackBerry® Certification Program exams related to BlackBerry® Enterprise Server v4.1 were retired as of September 1, 2010. These exams are no longer available for testing. As of February 28, 2011, all exams related to BlackBerry Enterprise Server v4.1 have expired.
Affected certification programs
The following certification programs are affected by this retirement and expiry process:
- BlackBerry Certified Support Specialist (enterprise environment option)
- BlackBerry Certified Server Support Specialist
- BlackBerry Certified System Administrator
- BlackBerry Certified Solution Designer
How to maintain your certification
If you’ve been certified as a result of completing a BlackBerry Enterprise Server v4.1 exam and would like to maintain your BlackBerry certification status, you must pass the corresponding BlackBerry Enterprise Server v.50 exam to maintain your certification status.
To achieve a BlackBerry Enterprise Server v5.0 certification, you must complete all exam requirements within the BlackBerry Enterprise Server v5.0 software version.
