What is the BlackBerry Security Summit?
The BlackBerry® Security Summit is the premier industry event for today’s executives looking to gain insights on cybersecurity. Join over 400 participants, including C-level executives, IT decision makers, VPs, business directors, automakers, developers and solution providers from all over the world.
The event highlights the benefits of extending the enterprise, from driving new business models to enhancing workflow capabilities through the following tracks: Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity for Automobiles, and BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Suite.
The BlackBerry Security Summit also includes a Developer Summit and an invitation-only Partner Summit.

Who can attend the BlackBerry Security Summit?
The BlackBerry Security Summit is primarily geared towards C-level executives, VPs and Heads of Mobility, CSOs, automakers, architects and administrators of BlackBerry Enterprise Software, as well as Enterprise Developers and Partners.

Location and date?
The BlackBerry Security Summit London will be held at Kings Place Events, 90 York Way, N1 9AG. The event takes place on 24 October 2017 with a subsequent, by-invitation-only Partner Summit on 25 October 2017.

Are attendees allowed to bring guests?
No, all participants must register individually and only those with confirmed registrations will be granted access.

What is the event security policy?
Identification badges will be provided to all attendees at check-in. Government-issued photo identification may be requested during this process. Badges must be worn by attendees and visible at all times during event participation. Please note that as a security measure, BlackBerry will be randomly checking bags.

When will I receive my badge for the BlackBerry Security Summit?
Summit credentials are provided to you upon check-in onsite. Badges are non-transferable and will be confiscated if worn by someone other than the person to whom it was issued. Registration check-in is available at the Summit Registration Desk at Kings Place Events.

What is the process for lost badges?
If you lose your badge onsite, it can be reprinted at no cost. Just go to the Summit Registration Desk at Kings Place Events and provide a valid government-issued photo ID.

Will wireless access be available at the venue?
Yes, wireless Internet connectivity will be available for attendees.

Will meals be available at the event?
Yes, breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks will be served at the BlackBerry Security Summit, in addition to a hosted networking reception.

What if I have a special dietary requirement or food allergy?
During the registration process, you can advise us of any special dietary requirements or food allergies. If you have already registered, you can modify your registration by accessing the link on your confirmation email and updating your information as required. Please note, onsite requests cannot be accommodated.

Is there parking provided at the Kings Place Events?
Kings Place Events does not offer parking. The closest public parking is at located at the St. Pancras International car park.

What can I do in my spare time in London?

Is there a dress code?
The dress code for this summit is business professional.

Where can I obtain a meeting room for customer meetings during the event?
All space within Kings Place Events is dedicated to conference activities and is not available for rent. As an alternative, you can check for meeting room pricing and availability at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel by visiting https://www.marriottmeetingrooms.co.uk/

How can I register?
If you have not received an invitation, please feel free to submit your registration here. Public registration submissions will be reviewed and updated within 72 business hours

What does my registration include?
Registration includes access to the keynote session, breakout sessions and the showcase exhibit area. The Partner Summit track is by-invitation-only.

What is the deadline for registration?
23 October 2017 at 23,59hs GMT.

Can I register onsite?
Yes, however, government-issued photo ID will be required. On-site registration hours will be from 9,00 - 13,00hs GMT.

How much does the BlackBerry Security Summit cost?
The BlackBerry Security Summit is free to attend.

Is it possible to have someone attend the event in my place?
Yes, substitutions are permitted. Please email globalevents@blackberry.com with the full name, corporate email address, company name and title of your substitute by 10 October 2017 for processing.

I have already registered. How do I make changes?
You can modify your registration using your confirmation number outlined in your registration confirmation email.

I do not remember my confirmation number. How can I get this information?
You will find your confirmation number within your registration confirmation email. If you are unable to locate this information, email globalevents@blackberry.com.

What if I have not received my confirmation email?
Your registration must be completed and payment (if applicable) confirmed in order to receive a registration confirmation e-mail. Note that globalevents@blackberry.com should be on your safe sender list to receive your confirmation.
If you are still unable to locate this information, please contact globalevents@blackberry.com with your name, company, job title, and email.
Travel, Hotel & Transport Questions

I am not a UK resident. Do I need a Visa to travel to London for the Summit?
Visa-free travel is still in place for citizens of member states of the European Union, including to and from the UK. To find out whether you need a visa and how to apply to visit London, see the UK Border Agency website or check with your local British Embassy or other diplomatic representative before you travel. The rules change regularly, so you should check you have the most up to date information for your trip.
Some people may require a visa to visit London. Information on visitor visas and how to apply for one can be found on the UK Border Agency website. Leave to enter the country as a visitor is only granted for a limited period depending on your travel plans.

How do I request a formal “Letter of Invitation” required to process my international travel visa application?
You can request a “Letter of Invitation" by emailing globalevents@blackberry.com. Note that a “Letter of Invitation” will not be released until a registration is complete and payment (if applicable) has been processed/received in full.

Can the BlackBerry Security Summit registration team assist with travel arrangements?
Unfortunately, the BlackBerry Security Summit registration team does not support travel arrangements.

What is the nearest airport or train stations recommended for attendees to travel to?
London Heathrow and Gatwick airports, or the St. Pancras International Railway Station.

How long does it take to get to the event venue from these locations?
Driving time may vary depending on the traffic conditions:
- London Heathrow: 45 to 60 minutes
- Gatwick: 40 to 50 minutes
- St Pancras rail station: 5 minutes

Do I bring my own laptop?
Yes. A laptop will be required for those attending the Developer Summit session.
